With 30 years of experience in his respective fields Patrick has a broad base of knowledge of both the East End and Manhattan markets. Formerly a Senior Appraiser at the prestigious Miller Samuel Appraisal firm in Manhattan, he was praised by Jonathan Miller, President of the firm, as "a hardworking professional who has a wide array of valuation experience and extensive local market knowledge." Patrick was also the New York City appraiser for Westchester's Houlihan and O'Malley Real Estate Appraisal firm in Bronxville, NY. Prior to joining Town & Country Real Estate, Patrick was an Associate Broker with Allan Schneider Associates and a Vice President with the Corcoran Group. Patrick also owns Patrick M. Galway Real Estate Appraisal and Consulting, which specializes in the appraisal of high end Hamptons real estate.
While growing up in Southampton Town, Patrick worked with contractors and builders. His knowledge of the physical and financial sides of construction led him to manage multiple residential construction sites in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California early in his career.
One of Patrick's inspirations was his great-grandfather, founder of Galway Excavation Company in Manhattan. The firm prepared sites for such notable buildings as the Flatiron Building, the New York Public Library, and Bryant Park.
Throughout Patrick's multi-faceted career, he has always specialized in luxury real estate. In addition, he has extensive experience covering matrimonial, trust and estate, federal historic preservation, mortgage origination, relocation, asset valuation, share allocation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters.
