THE GLASS HOUSE

In a class of its own. Designed by Juan A. Figueroa, creative mind behind the highly acclaimed Williamsburg Savings Bank restoration in Brooklyn at 175 Broadway. The steel and glass structure was engineered by Jeff Smilow, structural engineer of NYC's Freedom Tower. The first floor is a spectacular open plan living room/kitchen encompassing approximately 5000 SF of all glass floor to ceiling windows unencumbered by columns. The kitchen, custom made in Italy by Scavolini, includes top of the line appliances by Gaggenau. The second floor has two independent staircases. The first staircase leads to two master suites featuring custom-made walk-in closets with full skylights overhead and sumptuous master bathrooms built entirely of natural stones and white quartz; both with double shower heads and one with a luxurious soaking tub. The master baths both have the same floor to ceiling windows as well as over-sized skylights bathing you with light. The second staircase carries you to four guest bedrooms, each one has an ensuite all marble bathroom with skylights above, custom closets, and individually controlled air conditioning. The basement connects via a tunnel (!) that features a 4 car garage, a finished basement lobby, an all marble full guest bathroom and a generously sized storage area with potential to be a future cinema room. The outdoor area offers a massive 27x55 ft. heated, saltwater gunite pool with a cleverly inlaid hot tub surrounded by a twenty acre nature preserve and features its own music system independent from the house. The house has radiant heat on all three floors, central air conditioning on the first floor, and splits in each room. The entire house can be controlled remotely using an iphone, from the front gates and lighting to the heating and air conditioning system.
